Have you met...

... my hero (and husband) Brady?

Brady has been in my life since February 17, 1996. I have not been the same since that day. Brady has a great sense of humor, amazing work ethic, and caring attitude that baffles me sometimes.

Brady is my biggest fan and staunchest supporter. That makes him a hero, but that is not all he is.

Brady is an amazing Dad. He loves our 3 kids with everything in his being and sacrifices to to give them the best life he can. That makes him a hero too, but that is not all he is.

Brady is a United States Marine Master Sergeant. His tough but love-based approach has changed the lives of many young men. He truly cares about them and wants to help them be successful. I have listened as they thank him for making them grow up and be better Marines. He sacrifices time with his family to serve his country. That makes him a hero, but that is not all he is either.

Brady is an amazing runner. Brady really just started long distance running last August and has redefined himself in the process (more on that later). This past weekend, he ran 100 miles in just over 27 hours. I was there when it was especially tough. I watched him dig deep to keep moving. Many miles of that last half of the race were ran entirely with his heart. His tenacity makes him a hero too.

If you haven't met Brady, you are really missing out.
